Guisborough Parish Pantomime Group was set up by keen parishioners with a penchant for amateur dramatics back in 1974, and has been a thriving church-affiliated group ever since.
The annual pantomimes are held in the Parish Hall on Bow Street in the second week of January each year. The group’s Annual General Meeting is held in March with auditions for the forthcoming production held on the first Sunday in September. Rehearsals are usually twice a week, on Sunday afternoons and Tuesday evenings for principal roles and weekly for the chorus.
The group encourages acting, singing and dancing talents from the age of eight and over the past forty years has built up a strong reputation of producing quality family entertainment.
The group’s next production, its 43rd, will be ‘Pinocchio’ by Jane Spamer and will run from Monday 9th to Saturday 14th January 2017.
